Meet the Team

Hi!

Director

TANAMI

I am Tanami and I created Bridging Therapy in 2020. I started Bridging Therapy because I wanted to create a disability service where YOU are being HEARD and LISTENED TO. I wanted to create a service that would enable YOU to work with people that see the value and potential in you as a person.  Each and every one of you matter to us as a person - a person with equal opportunity and a person with a lot of ABILITY.

Support workers

RUBY

I have completed my Cert III & IV in Allied Health Assistance. I have worked with people of all ages, diagnosed with ASD, Mental Health disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and sensory processing disorders. I love being able to make a difference in people’s lives. In my free time you will find me at the beach or camping in the sunshine, whilst cooking up a storm and spending time with my dog.

LIANA

DIONE

I completed my Bachelor of Psychology and Justice in 2021. I have a strong interest and passion for developmental psychology, emotional regulation and behaviour, communication and language and autism. I have complete volunteer worked and have worked a case manager where I have practiced within a person-centred strengths-based framework to help my clients achieve their goals. In my spare time, I love looking after my health, reading, learning, travelling, and completing arts and crafts.

I am a third-year occupational therapy student. My favourite part about my role is the incredible journey of building trust and achieving goals alongside my clients in a space where they feel heard, valued, and empowered. I grew up on the Sunshine Coast and during my spare time, I love spending time with my friends in the outdoors.

MEAGHAN

TAYLAH

I became a support worker as I have a strong passion for helping enrich others to lead and live their best lives. My interests in creativity, holistic wellness and mental health enable me to support clients in a fun and empathetic manner. I believe it’s important to constantly be learning and improving on my knowledge base so that I can provide the best possible service. I have particular interests in developmental psychology, mental health, ADHD and emotional regulation.

I have a degree in exercise science and am completing my Master of Occupational Therapy. I have experience working with children diagnosed with ASD and ADHD but also have a strong interest in working with people of all ages to assist them with their every-day tasks. Outside of work and study I enjoy keeping active, going to Pilates, reading and cooking.
